Qubit

A qubit is the information stored in the spin of an atom

In classical computation, a bit can be either 0, or a 1
However, in quantum computation, the bits are measured as down spin $| 0 ⟩$ or up spin $| 1 ⟩$

Dirac Notation

Instead of a discrete bits, quantum uses Dirac notation to measure the information of the bit
